The intermediate accountant will be initially responsible for processing hourly payroll for over 200 unionized employees, preparing union reports, processing checks and transfers, remittances and bank reconciliations. After the initial 12 months the role will develop into an intermediate accountant role focused more on full cycle accounting with the opportunity to grow and become a designated CMA. ?????

The Successful candidate will have at least 3 years similar experience and will be studying towards a CMA designation, while also holding at least level 1 payroll. You will be able to work without supervision and manage your day to day duties in a deadline driven environment, strong ERP experience is an asset as the company intend on implementing a new system in 2013.
